What more can the federal government do to help Baltimore battle homicides and other violent crime?

"In the past I witnessed former Governor Larry Hogan throw a lot of money at Baltimore City but unfortunately with minimal results. I believe that providing Ivan Bates with more resources and support to do his job would go a very long way in impacting violent crimes. My friend told me he reached out to Mr.Bates this morning and believes Mr.Bates will be able to help him rectify his problem. I also believe that if a congressman from District 7 made crime prevention one of his top priorities things would change in Baltimore City!
